Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly. Align your actions to the desired outcomes. Own your intentions, own your fears, and dive in.
Lukewarm intentions don’t produce results - in either our work or our personal lives. Labeling your indecision as flexibility is unhelpful. Calling it a “hangout” when you mean a date is cowardly. Pretending you “didn’t want the job anyway” doesn’t fool anyone.
Ambivalence offers us a false way out. It stunts our growth for the sake of our pride. It traps us in denial. Nothing truly worth doing can be done halfheartedly.
May we overcome the temptation of ambivalence. Live with conviction. Be honest with ourselves and each other. Express what we mean to express. Success or failure, experience freedom knowing we have given it our all.
